We ingest legal documents directly from official registries (e.g. Légifrance, BOE, EUR-Lex, RIS, national court databases). We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the index current and accurate, but:
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay an invoice. We will give 7 days' notice and an opportunity to cure unless the breach is severe enough to require immediate action (e.g. ongoing abuse). You may close your account at any time from the account page or by emailing support.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Legal Data Hunter’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service, these terms, any data processing obligations, or any related claim will not exceed the total amount actually paid by the customer to Legal Data Hunter for the service during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Legal Data Hunter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for substantive changes, by email to active subscribers at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
